A numerical approach to MHD Maxwell fluid flow over a vertical plate in a non-Darcian porous regime with Arrhenius activation energy and viscous dissipation effect
摘要
The present study seeks to close the gap by carrying out a numerical approach to Maxwell fluid dynamics over a vertical surface in a non-Darcy porous medium, taking into account both Arrhenius activation energy and viscous dissipation. The study additionally involves an examination of transmission of mass and energy inside magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) Maxwell fluids. Using a transformation strategy based on similarity variables to overcome the problem provided by nonlinear partial differential equations (PDEs). The modified equations are then cracked using MATLAB's bvp4c tool. The acquired results are in excellent accord with previously published studies. This study shows that temperature profile grows with thermal radiation parameter and Eckert number, whereas concentration profile grows with energy activation parameter. Also, it demonstrates that elevating chemical reaction parameter diminishes concentration profiles while enhancing heat source parameter boosts temperature profiles. Furthermore, we estimate skin friction coefficients, Nusselt numbers, as well as local Sherwood numbers for a range of parameter values. This scientific study helps to improve product quality, optimize processes, and get a better understanding of how complicated fluids behave in practical situations by examining the dynamics of Maxwell fluid across an upright plate with organic interactions.
