<p>Digital workflows in dental implantology have gained significant popularity. They offer potential advantages over conventional methods. However, patient satisfaction with these workflows, particularly in the context of single implant crowns, requires thorough evaluation. The primary objective of this review is to assess patient satisfaction with digital versus conventional workflows in the fabrication of singe implant crowns. The secondary objectives are to measure impression time, adjustment time, and laboratory workflow duration. A comprehensive literature search was conducted across five electronic databases (PubMed, Scopus, Embase, Cochrane Library, and OVID) up to September 2024. Studies selected for inclusion were Predominantly randomized controlled clinical trials that evaluated digital and conventional workflows for single implant crowns (PROSPERO registration number CRD42024574033). Twelve randomized controlled studies, including 455 patients, were included. The studies compared digital and conventional workflows in parallel or crossover designs. Digital workflows demonstrated superior patient satisfaction during impression workflows and significantly reduced impression times compared to conventional methods. Despite these advantages, heterogeneity in study designs and outcome measures precluded a meta-analysis. According to the revised Cochrane risk-of-bias tool (RoB 2) for randomized trials, among the 12 RCTs, 8 studies were identified as having a high risk of bias, 2 demonstrated some concerns, and 2 were classified as low risk. The findings suggest that digital technologies offer advantages, particularly in enhancing patient satisfaction and reducing impression time. Digital workflows for single implant crowns may be more efficient in terms of impression time and patient satisfaction than conventional methods.</p>
