Acceptance sampling inspection plan under fuzzy theory for generalized half-normal distribution

In this article, a single acceptance sampling inspection plan is developed for generalized half-normal (GHN) distribution under the light of fuzzy set theory. Proportion of non-conforming products considered as fuzzy number. Determined the operating characteristic (OC) values along with lower and upper bound of OC values. We calculated the fuzzy acceptance probability of GHN when alpha cut method is taken under fuzzy theory. Real life example is used to illustrate the application of presented study. Comparison study is placed to understand the benefits of fuzzy acceptance sampling inspection plan over the conventional single acceptance sampling inspection plan.
