摘要

This paper presents a model for geometric process (GP) repair, coupled with a failure-free warranty policy. Here we considered a single repair facility independent of the system, requiring minimal time to reach the system when needed. In the event of system failure, it will remain inactive until the mechanic is available for inspection and repair, acknowledging that the unit/machine may not be restored to its original condition after failures. The successive failure times form a non-increasing GP, while the repair times constitute a non-decreasing GP. Applying Markov process, we derive various key reliability measures under these assumptions. In the end, we numerically maximize the expected profit over time for a finite number of system failures (N).
