摘要

To make image encryption system more secure this paper present a new image encryption method that combines hybrid optical cryptography with hyper-elliptic curve cryptography to secure image transmission in modern networks. The hybrid optical method uses two transformations- Discrete Wavelet transform (DWT) and Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT)- applied Sequentially to leverage strengths of both methods. It provides multi-resolution analysis and energy compaction for enhanced security and compression. Hyper-elliptic curve encryption offers security equivalent to established methods but with small key size. The proposed method was tested on MATLAB 2020 with Benchmark Lena image. The results showed improved Entropy, Peak Signal-to-Noise ratio, Normalized Pixel Change Rate, Unified Average Change Intensity and Mean Square Error value. The algorithm Successfully resisted Gaussian Low-Pass Filter, Mean Squar attack Cropping attack and statical attacks.
