Subjects learnt cues across nights of sleep and deprivation and were tested subsequently.</p> Result <p>Volunteers remembered valence better than neutral cues, and this effect was enhanced across nights filled with sleep. Valence supported faster and earlier detection of and improved recognition memory of cues.</p> Conclusion <p>Cue valence plays a decisive role in the consolidation of prospective memories, and this effect is enhanced in the presence of sleep following cue learning.</p>

Aim

Method
