<p>This article is based on qualitative interviews with 34&#xa0;children aged&#xa0;6 to 16, who live in Germany and Ghana and belong to different religious groups or identify as atheists. Drawing on a&#xa0;constructivist perspective that regards children as (religious) actors in their lifeworlds, it is analyzed how they interpret the COVID-19 pandemic and public mitigation measures with reference to religious and secular meaning patterns, and how they relate these interpretations to their use of religious and public health practices as ways to cope with the pandemic.</p>

摘要

This article is based on qualitative interviews with 34 children aged 6 to 16, who live in Germany and Ghana and belong to different religious groups or identify as atheists.
