<p>The Triassic succession of La Mancha and Northeastern Guadalquivir basins, Central-SE Spain, records the fragmentation last stages of Pangea during which Upper Triassic sediments were extending westwards along the shoulders of the main Iberian Rift basin located to the Northeast. In this study, we discuss the continuity of Upper Triassic sediments deposited on the Variscan unconformity across the main outcrops related to the Iberian Meseta Tabular Cover zone and beneath the overlying Neogene basins and the extension of Ortí (Estudios Geol 30:7–46, 1974) Keuper defined formations, K1–K5, to this area. A consistent set of units is identified, K1–K5, with minor difference relative to the originally defined, two more units are added to complete the Keuper succession of Late Ladinian to Norian age, K0 at the base and Imón-Zamoranos Fm., K6 Unit, at the top. To this end, fifty-four geological maps (1:50.000 scale) with their respective stratigraphic sections combined with 600 wells (50–500&#xa0;m deep) columns were reviewed to check consistency and similarities and differences of these units. We consider Hornos-Siles outcrop as an antiformal stack with tectonically repeated Middle Triassic Muschelkalk levels. The Upper Triassic K0 to K6 units, form the Chiclana de Segura Keuper Group, representative of the Triassic Hesperian Domain in this area of the Iberian Meseta Tabular Cover. They are grouped in two sequences T7 K0 to K3 units, Late Ladinian to Carnian age, and T8 K4 to K6 units, Carnian to Norian age. Middle and Lower Triassic, Muschelkalk and Buntsandstein, units are absent.</p>
