On the efficiency of certain operators of Abel–Poisson type in seminormed approximations

This work examines the efficiency of generalized Abel–Poisson means in seminormed approximation of periodic functions. Such approximation of the corresponding conjugate functions via generalized conjugate Abel–Poisson means is also examined. In particular, the seminormed approximation of periodic functions and their conjugate functions by the classical Abel–Poisson integral and the conjugate Abel–Poisson integral, respectively, is derived as a special case of the main results.
