<p><i>Amblyseius swirskii</i> Athias-Henriot is a highly successful biological control agent in greenhouses and fields. Pollen grains provide essential nutrients for the development and rapid establishment of this generalist predator. The objective of the present study was to test the pollen of different Rosaceae plant species including almond <i>Prunus amygdalus</i> Batsch, apple <i>Malus domestica</i> Borkh., apricot <i>Prunus armeniaca</i> L., Japanese quince <i>Chaenomeles japonica</i> (Thunb.) Lindl., and rose <i>Rosa hybrida</i> L. on development, and population statistics of <i>A. swirskii</i> based on the TWOSEX-MSChart program. All experiments were conducted under controlled laboratory conditions (25 ± 1&#xa0;°C, 60 ± 5% RH, and 16L:8D photoperiod). Control mites were fed immature stages of <i>Tetranychus urticae</i> Koch. The predatory mite could successfully survive and reproduce on all pollens. Also, there was no mortality during the pre-adult stages. The intrinsic rate of increase (<i>r</i>) in the mites fed on almond, apple, apricot, Japanese quince, rose pollen, and <i>T. urticae</i> showed a growth trend without any significant difference between the treatments. Furthermore, no significant difference was observed in the finite rate of increase (<i>λ</i>), gross rate of increase (<i>GRR</i>), and net rate of increase (<i>R</i><sub><i>0</i></sub>). Only the mean generation time (<i>T</i>) in the almond pollen treatment was significantly longer than in the other treatments. Therefore, pollens from tested Rosaceous plants serve as suitable food for <i>A. swirskii</i>. They can be utilized as nutrient food while rearing the mites, or in the greenhouse and field conservation biological control applications when the main prey population is diminished. </p>
