The findings indicate that children primarily value empathy, effective communication skills, and the capacity to provide assistance as essential qualities of therapy robots. Pepper, Bandit, and Simsensei were among the most frequently identified examples of therapy robots. Additionally, participants emphasized the importance of human-like features, attractiveness, and emotional expressiveness. The children also stated that they preferred engaging in conversations with robots not only on academic subjects but also on personal and social matters. Overall, the results demonstrate that gifted children expect therapy robots to integrate technological and emotional attributes in a balanced manner, and the study provides recommendations for future design and implementation processes.</p>
