<p>Marine bioactive compounds, derived from seaweeds, offer extensive therapeutic potentials. In this context, the aim of this study was to explore the biological properties of invasive red seaweed <i>Grateloupia turuturu</i> crude extract collected from the coastal region of Tipaza. Total polyphenol and flavonoid contents were first determined in the extracts, which were subsequently evaluated for their antioxidant, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and anticancer activities. The extracts demonstrated strong antioxidant activity in various assays, including DPPH, β-carotene bleaching, ABTS, FRAP, and hydroxyl radical scavenging tests. Significant antimicrobial activity was observed against a range of pathogenic microorganisms with particularly marked antifungal efficacy. Also, the anti-inflammatory potential was confirmed by the extract’s ability to inhibit protein denaturation in a dose-dependent manner. Furthermore, a significant reduction in the viability of breast cancer cells MCF7 was induced by the extract of <i>Grateloupia turuturu</i>, indicating promising anticancer potential. In summary, <i>Grateloupia turuturu</i> was identified as promising sources of bioactive compounds.</p>
