<p>The Korean rockfish, <i>Sebastes schlegelii</i>, is an invasive marine species introduced into the Black Sea from the northwestern Pacific Ocean. This study presents the first data on its diet in this new habitat. The diet of Korean rockfish has changed compared to its native area, showing a high degree of trophic plasticity and an ability to consume a wide variety of food prey. These findings suggest that favorable food conditions may contribute to the population growth of Korean rockfish in the Black Sea.</p>
