<p>The present research study reports the first record of <i>Watersipora subtorquata</i> (Cheilostomatida: Flustrina: Watersiporidae) along the Makran coast bordering the Northern Arabian Sea, thereby adding a new record of family (Watersiporidae) and genus (<i>Watersipora</i>) to the existing bryozoan fauna of Pakistan. Our conclusion attributing dark-brownish colonies with a bright-orange outer growing edge to <i>W. subtorquata</i> is grounded in comparative morphology, specifically focusing on the orifice, condyles, and operculum, which are recognized as pivotal in distinguishing between species. The current findings contribute valuable insights into the wide-ranging characteristics of <i>W. subtorquata</i> across different geographical regions and highlights the need for further research to elucidate potential factors contributing to such morphological variations within <i>W. subtorquata</i> populations worldwide.</p>
