<p>This study presents the first records of four marine gastropod species collected from Hare Island in the Gulf of Mannar, India: <i>Turbonilla mumia</i> (A. Adams, 1861), <i>Pyrgulina maiae</i> Hornung &amp; Mermod, 1924, <i>Styloptygma aciculina</i> (Souverbie, 1865), and <i>Styloptygma versicolor</i> Melvill and Standen 1897. The discovery of these species extends their known distribution ranges and contributes to the understanding of marine biodiversity in the Gulf of Mannar.</p>
