<p>Thirteen species of red macroalgae are newly reported for islands of Old Providence and Santa Catalina in the Southwestern Caribbean Sea. Of these taxa, <i>Acrochaetium affine</i> is a new record for Colombia, <i>Aglaothamnion halliae</i>,<i> Chondria atropurpurea</i>,<i> Corallophila atlantica</i>,<i> Gelidiella lubrica</i>,<i> Herposiphonia secunda</i>, <i>H. pecten-veneris</i> and <i>Liagora albicans</i> are new records for the Biosphere Reserve <i>Seaflower</i>, while <i>Acrothamnion butlerae</i>,<i> Ganonema norrisiae</i>,<i> Melanothamnus sphaerocarpus</i>,<i> Perikladosporon percurrens</i> and <i>Trichogloeopsis pedicellata</i> are new records for both islands, being reported at other localities in the Archipelago. The algal material was collected in coral reef habitats (3–16&#xa0;m depth), during the Scientific Expedition Seaflower 2019. Their morphological features are discussed. During the past decade, phycological research in the Biosphere Reserve <i>Seaflower</i> has revealed a much more diverse marine flora than historically appreciated, and recent sampling continues to add new taxa to the marine flora of the area.&#xa0;</p>
