<p>The global push toward sustainable transportation has driven significant advancements in green vehicle technologies. This paper presents a critical examination of the environmental impacts associated with various GVs throughout their lifecycle, addressing the escalating concerns over environmental degradation and the rising demand for eco-friendly alternatives to conventional fossil fuel-powered vehicles. We evaluate technologies such as biofuel vehicles, hybrid electric vehicles, plug-in hybrid electric vehicles, fuel cell electric vehicles, battery electric vehicles, and solar-powered electric vehicles, highlighting their potential to mitigate the transportation sector’s carbon footprint. This research extends the current literature by providing an innovative, holistic lifecycle assessment of green vehicles, including a thorough analysis of solar vehicles, which are often overlooked in existing studies. Our approach encompasses the environmental impacts of these vehicles from raw material extraction through to end-of-life disposal, considering critical factors such as energy sources, vehicle efficiency, and sustainable practices in battery manufacturing, a crucial yet frequently underexplored aspect in previous research.</p>
