A Scoping Review of the Vulnerabilities of Syrian Refugees Amid Overlapping Crises in Jordan, Lebanon, and Türkiye
摘要
This study examines how scholars and policymakers define and apply the concept of vulnerability in forced migration contexts in Jordan, Lebanon, and Türkiye. Drawing on a scoping review of 86 scholarly articles and 43 policy reports published between 2011 and 2024, the analysis identifies key trends and gaps in research focusing on the Syrian Civil War, COVID-19, and the 2023 Türkiye–Syria earthquakes. It reveals eight recurring vulnerability dimensions: socio-cultural, politico-legal, economic, health, environmental, technological, spatial, and temporal components. The review highlights the interactionality and intersectionality of vulnerabilities in forced migration and disaster contexts.
