Structural behavior of reinforced cement concrete building under blast load
摘要
Present paper deals with the study of structural behaviour of G + 12 Reinforced Cement Concrete building subjected to blast loads. In these paper blast pressure parameters for different cases of spherical charge weight and with varying stand-off distances is calculated conforming to IS 4991:1968 (Reaffirmed 2018). Structure is assumed to be fully closed without any openings and calculated peak reflected overpressures are applied at lump masses of the front facade of building. Storey displacements, storey drifts and bending moments are to be determined using finite element modeling software ETABS (Extended Three-dimensional Analysis of Building Systems). Results gathered will help in acquiring preventive measures to make building safe from blast effects.
