<p>The fluidity of the frozen sand mold has a significant impact on aspects such as local porosity and surface smoothness of the casting mold. It is an important factor in preventing defects in the castings. The fluidity law of frozen sand molds was studied by taking different freezing temperatures and water contents as process variables. The research results show that at a certain freezing temperature, as the water content decreases, the fluidity of the alloy cast in the frozen sand mold gradually increases. Under a certain water content, as the freezing temperature decreases, the fluidity of the frozen sand mold cast alloy first increases and then decreases. Under the process parameter range of − 10– − 20&#xa0;°C and 6–4 wt.%, the frozen sand mold casting alloy has better fluidity and is suitable for high-quality forming of complex thin-walled castings. Through the independently developed digital frozen sand mold green casting forming equipment, precise forming manufacturing of complex castings for high-end equipment is achieved, promoting the development of frozen sand mold green casting technology toward intelligence, greenness, and high-end.</p>
