Inextensibility of the group of \(p^n\)-torsions of universal elliptic curve at infinity of the j-line

摘要

We show that, for universal elliptic curve , the group of \(p^n\) p n -torsions does not extend over the infinity place of the j-line, although this is the case for its étale (resp. local) part.
