摘要

The kinetics of nickel leaching from middling nickel matte with sulfuric acid under atmospheric pressure were studied to determine the kinetic parameters and understand the leaching mechanism further. The effects of stirring speed, particle size, leaching temperature and sulfuric acid concentration were investigated. The result shows that the acid decomposition process conforms to the Avrami model, and it can be divided into two stages. (Fe,Ni)9S8 is dissolved in the front stage, while Ni3S2 is dissolved in the back stage. The effects of stirring speed and particle size are minor while the effect of leaching temperature is significant in the front stage and the sulfuric acid concentration influences greatly in the back stage. By fitting and calculation, the activation energies are 92.51 and 80.89 kJ/mol, and the reaction orders are 0.62 and 1.09, for the front and back stage respectively. The kinetic expressions are − ln(1−x) = [3.59 × 1010C0.62exp(−92,510/RT)t]0.59 and −ln(1−x) = [6.36 × 107C0.90exp(− 80,890/RT)t]1.09 for the front and back stage, respectively.
