摘要

The increasingly stricter RDE regulation on vehicle exhaust emission has become a challenge to many automobile manufacturers. In order to improve the efficiency of the emission control system design, this study introduces a brand new method of building up the simulated bench driving cycle for the RDE test. Based on RDE tests carried out in the plateau and mountainous areas in China, those factors inducing the emission of NOx and PN were analyzed. Then, two simulated driving cycles with the intensity of driving and slope of the road closing to the upper limits of the regulation were obtained. Eventually, a simulated bench driving cycle with most of the high load conditions yet meeting the demands of the RDE test was obtained. By loading the simulated driving cycle data into the AVL Dyno System (chassis dynamometer), the emission control system of the vehicle was developed and the emission of NOx and PN satisfied the regulation requirements.
