Understanding the factors influencing attractiveness enables better planning and sustainable development, ensuring the long-term success of ethnic and folk sports tourism destinations. The attractiveness evaluation of ethnic and folk sport events tourism destinations is a multiple-attribute group decision-making (MAGDM) problem. In recent years, the Logarithmic TODIM strategy and the mixed aggregation by comprehensive normalization technique (MACONT) have been widely applied to address MAGDM problems. These methods are particularly effective in evaluating complex scenarios involving multiple conflicting criteria. To handle uncertainty in decision-making, interval-valued Pythagorean fuzzy sets (IVPFSs) have been utilized as a robust tool for modeling imprecise and uncertain information. This study introduces the interval-valued Pythagorean fuzzy number Logarithmic TODIM-MACONT (IVPFN-LogTODIM-MACONT) strategy, which integrates the strengths of both methods within the IVPFS framework. To validate the strategy, a numerical case study is conducted to assess the attractiveness of ethnic and folk sports event tourism destinations. The results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method in ranking alternatives while addressing uncertainty, providing valuable insights for decision-makers in the tourism sector.</p>
