<p>A case series exploring a novel approach for reintegration of homeless women with severe mental illness (SMI) in an Indian setting. It presents three cases of female patients with SMI, found wandering and admitted through police intervention. All three patients were symptomatic, lacked insight, making identification and tracing their families challenging. Pharmacological treatment facilitated clinical improvement and communication. We then describe the use of easily available digital tools like Google and Google Maps. Innovative use of digital tools—specifically Google Maps and community contacts, enabled successful identification and reintegration with families. This study highlights the intersection of clinical psychiatry, technology, and social work, emphasizing the importance of cross-sector collaboration. It also underscores systemic gaps in rural mental health infrastructure, the need for structured aftercare, and ethical considerations in managing patients with impaired autonomy. The findings suggest that integrating accessible technologies into mental health protocols can significantly improve outcomes for this vulnerable population.</p>
