This review provides a comprehensive overview of recent advances, challenges, and opportunities in the use of recycled polymers, metals, composites, and glass/ceramics for AM. It examines key material sources, preprocessing techniques, and the influence of recycling on printability, mechanical performance, and part quality across various AM technologies. This review highlights current research gaps and outlines future directions for advancing the reliable and scalable use of recycled materials in AM, paving the way toward greener manufacturing ecosystems.</p>
