摘要

Despite being a leading cause of healthcare visits, dermatology remains underemphasized in medical education. A needs assessment revealed significant dissatisfaction with dermatology training among our institution’s medical students, prompting the development of a ten-module asynchronous online curriculum. Implemented over two academic years, this curriculum integrated dermatologic education into clerkships using interactive case studies, videos, and games. Evaluation through pre- and post-intervention surveys demonstrated significant improvements in diagnostic accuracy and student confidence. Despite these gains, overall satisfaction with dermatology training did not demonstrate improvement, highlighting the ongoing need for comprehensive, integrated dermatologic education to better prepare future healthcare providers.
