Esame del liquido seminale: una finestra sulla salute dell’uomo
摘要
Semen analysis, traditionally used to assess male fertility, increasingly recognised as an important indicator of overall health. Sperm parameters provide information on the integrity of the endocrine, metabolic, and genomic systems. Impaired semen quality is associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular, metabolic, endocrine, and oncologic diseases. Early and constant monitoring through semen analysis can guide surveillance and preventive strategies, positioning the andrologist as a central figure in the assessment of men’s health.
