Pubertà precoce: approccio diagnostico e terapeutico
摘要
Precocious puberty is the development of secondary sexual characteristics before the age of 8 in girls and 9 in boys. It can be central or peripheral, with a genetic, organic, or multifactorial aetiology. In recent years, an increase in cases has been observed, especially in girls. Early diagnosis and targeted therapy, such as GnRH analogues, are essential to preserve patients’ height and psychological well-being.
