摘要

Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a frequent complication of type 2 diabetes (DM2), associated with increasing disability and mortality despite therapeutic advances. Studies on GLP-1 receptor agonists (GLP-1RA) and tirzepatide, a dual GIP/GLP-1 agonist, have shown promising nephroprotective effects. This review summarises the evidence on the renal benefits of GLP-1RA and tirzepatide, exploring potential underlying mechanisms. Further studies are needed to confirm their impact on renal outcomes.
