Tumori testicolari: focus sulla ginecomastia
摘要
The nosography of testicular tumours includes various types of neoplasms, including those arising from germ cells. These tumours can occur at any age, but over 90% of cases are found in young men, where they can lead to gynecomastia. The latter often arises during adolescence and, in most cases, has a benign aetiology. Through a detailed description of testicular tumours and their ability to produce and secrete hormones, this article aims to clarify under which circumstances gynecomastia may serve as a “warning sign”, indicating the need for a more thorough diagnostic investigation.
