A Proposed Framework for Organizational Quality Planning to Enhance Service Delivery in Applied Behavior Analysis for Autism Service Providers
摘要
We present a comprehensive framework for organizational quality planning aimed at enhancing service delivery among applied behavior analysis (ABA) providers for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). We outline the need for consistent quality assurance in ABA services, highlighting the impact of such services on client outcomes and overall satisfaction. The proposed framework for organizational quality planning emphasizes a step-by-step approach, stakeholder collaboration, and defining an organization’s goals with standard definitions. To highlight the use of this proposed framework, we present examples of how each component could be applied in a real-world setting. We provide recommended practices with actionable strategies for implementation. We conclude by emphasizing the importance of adopting a quality-focused perspective and advocating for ongoing evaluation and adaptation to enhance the overall quality of care for individuals with ASD. Our intent is for this framework to serve as a valuable resource for ABA leaders seeking to enhance their service delivery and improve outcomes for clients and their families.
