<p>This is a survey on some research carried out together with Edoardo Ballico about the relation between certain algebraic varieties with no trisecant lines and caps of finite projective spaces that represents a natural link between classical algebraic geometry and Galois geometry. Without the supervision of Edoardo much of my subsequent research activity it wouldn’t have been possible.</p>

摘要

This is a survey on some research carried out together with Edoardo Ballico about the relation between certain algebraic varieties with no trisecant lines and caps of finite projective spaces that represents a natural link between classical algebraic geometry and Galois geometry.
