The Dobbs v Jackson decision in 2022 overturned decades long legal access to abortion for women across the United States. The purpose of this review is to explore the current literature regarding mental health implications of abortion restriction and policy change.

Recent Findings

Recent studies have also begun to investigate both state and national trends in various mental health domains such as depression, anxiety, and suicidality in the context of evolving abortion policy.
