The study examined the following: co-occurrence of keywords, thematic mapping, co-citations, authorship and country collaborations, prolific authors, most influential papers, institutions, and nations, as well as the scientific output of articles. Performance analysis and thematic clustering were carried out in the study using VOSviewer. The year with the highest productivity was 2023, with 24 documents; this was followed by 2019 and 2020 (21 documents). Hytti, U., with 4 publications (70 citations), was at the top; however, with 182 total citations, Yahya S. and Kingsman B. were at the top. The most influential institution and country were Lancaster University, United Kingdom, and the United States, respectively. According to the findings, “Education and Training” is the most productive journal, while “Journal of the Operational Research Society” has the greatest influence. Additionally, the paper “Vendor rating for an entrepreneur development programme: A case study using the analytic hierarchy process method” has received the most citations. Five topic clusters of research on entrepreneurial training were also found by the study. It provides guidance and information to scholars about the state of the art in the field of entrepreneurship training literature. 摘要

In the area of entrepreneurial training research, this study aims to conduct a bibliometric analysis. The research conducted performance analysis, co-citation analysis, and bibliographic coupling on articles published between 1981 and 2023. The study examined 215 documents retrieved from the Scopus database using bibliometric analysis, performance analysis, and thematic clustering. It also describes potential avenues for future research in this field. The present study is among the few studies to integrate performance analysis and scientific mapping in this field.
