摘要

The purpose of this survey research is to test the relationship between entrepreneurial grit, entrepreneurial resilience, growth mindset, data-driven culture, and perceived venture performance in the tech startups of Pakistan. Grounded in Social Cognitive Theory, the study tests the model utilizing data collected from 181 startup founders using an adapted questionnaire and convenience sampling. Findings show that entrepreneurial grit and entrepreneurial resilience both impact perceived venture performance. They also reveal that entrepreneurial resilience mediates between entrepreneurial grit and perceived venture performance. Surprisingly, this research found that growth mindset reduces the impact of entrepreneurial grit on entrepreneurial resilience, while data-driven culture weakens the impact of entrepreneurial resilience on perceived venture performance. This study offers entrepreneurs, investors, and policymakers practical guidance on how to balance persistence with adaptability while forming a supportive tech-startup ecosystem.
