摘要

Forming an entrepreneurial intention is often considered the first substantial contribution in implementing entrepreneurial behaviour. Educators, lawmakers, researchers, and scholars considered entrepreneurship very important for a country’s socio-economic growth. In consequence, through investigations, this study determined that personality traits, perceived financial resources, entrepreneurial education, and entrepreneurial behaviour are all related by mediating entrepreneurial intention. Entrepreneurship relies on the Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB) combined with the Entrepreneurial Event Model (SEE). This research was carried out using a web-based questionnaire of 400 undergraduates in Vietnam. The authors validated the hypothesis using SPSS 20 and Amos 20 software, and the corroborating results revealed a direct association between individual characteristics, financial resources perceived, entrepreneurship education, and entrepreneurial purpose, consistent with previous studies’ findings. Moreover, the authors showed the effect of mediating entrepreneurial intention to promote entrepreneurial behaviour, which can be extended to this relationship. This article has provided theoretical contributions and suggestions to help managers apply them to management practice to foster entrepreneurial behaviour.
