摘要

Cycloidal-pin wheel is a weak link of RV reducer in industry robot application. To predict the wear life of the cycloidal-pin wheel under real load in industry robot application, an iterative algorithm was developed to analyze contact stress by continuously reconstruction the profile of the cycloidal-pin wheel. An approach to calculate the relative sliding distance and cumulative wear depth of the cycloidal-pin wheel was developed by considering the variation of wear coefficient under real working load. A prediction formula of wear coefficient was presented by using the testing data, which considered the working load, speed, lubrication condition, dimensional effect and surface roughness. The influence of the amount of profile modification on the wear life was analyzed. The results show that the relative error of the cumulative wear depth predicted by using the proposed method was less than 11.1% compared with the testing results.
