<p>Neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) present unique challenges due to their rarity, complex diagnosis, and disparities in access to treatment. Despite advances in diagnostic tools and therapies, patients—particularly in low- and middle-income countries—continue to face delays in diagnosis and limited access to radioligand therapies (RLT) such as ¹⁷⁷Lu-DOTA-octapeptides. Patient organizations play a crucial role in advocating for equitable access to these life-saving treatments by raising awareness, influencing healthcare policies, and fostering collaborations between stakeholders. This article highlights the impact of patient organizations, with a focus on the Oncidium Foundation and its commitment to global RLT accessibility. Through initiatives like RLT-Connect, the foundation bridges gaps between healthcare professionals and radioisotope suppliers, ensuring patients receive essential care. A patient’s journey illustrates how advocacy efforts can lead to systemic change, improving access to innovative cancer treatments. Strengthening collaboration between patient organizations, healthcare providers, and policymakers is essential for building a more inclusive and sustainable cancer care ecosystem.</p>
