摘要

Tirbanibulin ointment 1% (KLISYRI®) is an effective and well-tolerated topical treatment option for actinic keratosis (AK) in an area of up to 100 cm2 on the face or scalp of adults. Tirbanibulin is a first-in-class drug that inhibits keratinocyte proliferation by blocking tubulin polymerization and Src kinase signaling pathways. A short course of once-daily self-applied tirbanibulin ointment 1% for 5 days results in significantly higher complete (100%) and partial (≥ 75%) clearance rates of AKs on the face or scalp compared with vehicle control. Tirbanibulin ointment 1% applied to an area up to 100 cm2 is generally well tolerated, with a low incidence of severe local skin reactions and systemic adverse events.
