Temperature-Dependent Material Property Database for 90/10 Cu-Ni Plate
摘要
Copper-nickel (Cu-Ni) alloys are commonly used for marine applications such as piping, cladding, and other seawater facing components. These Cu-Ni components are conventionally manufactured using both cast and wrought processes. However, limited information is available regarding the high temperature properties of Cu-Ni. The following data descriptor article documents the thermo-physical and thermo-mechanical properties of material taken from a rolled 90/10 Cu-Ni (C70600) plate. These results will help empower integrated computational materials engineering (ICME) efforts through incorporation with commercial software packages for material processing and fabrication simulations. The raw data, in machine-readable form, are available at the University of Michigan’s Materials Commons data repository here: https://materialscommons.org/.
