Temperature-Dependent Material Property Database of Cast 70/30 Cu-Ni Material
摘要
Copper–nickel alloys are commonly used for marine applications such as piping, cladding, and other seawater facing components. These Cu-Ni components are conventionally manufactured using both cast and wrought processes. However, limited information is available regarding the high-temperature properties of Cu-Ni. The following data descriptor report documents the thermo-physical and thermo-mechanical properties of material taken from a 70/30 Cu-Ni casting as well as thermo-mechanical properties of a 70/30 Cu-Ni weld filler material. These results will help empower Integrated Computational Materials Engineering (ICME) efforts through the integration of the data within software packages. The raw data, in machine-readable form, are available at the University of Michigan’s Materials Commons data repository here: https://materialscommons.org/ Norkett and Fisher (Temperature-Dependent Material Property Database for 70/30 Cu-Ni Castings 2025).
