摘要

The alpha-induced nuclear reaction cross sections were evaluated over an energy range of 5–20 MeV for the target nucleus 106Cd. In order to evaluate the experimental results, a total of 432 combinations of eight optical potentials, six level density models, and nine gamma strength functions were analyzed. Subsequently, the astrophysical reaction rates were determined by ascertaining the model parameters that optimally represented the experimental outcomes, employing the threshold logic unit (TLU) method. The calculated reaction rates were compared with the existing reaction rate libraries REACLIB and STARLIB, and the new reaction rates were proposed for the 106Cd(α,γ)110Sn reaction.
