<p>Microwave systems for efficient communication especially micro-strip antennas are recently preferred due to its compact size, high gain and easy to integrate with devices for disaster rescue applications. Response from disaster survivors must be fast and the rescue team must reach immediately as soon as the disaster occurs. Efficient antennas must be designed and integrated with Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) plays very important role to reach the places where humans cannot reach. The antenna design depends on substrate type use, antenna structure, perturbation type, and feeding method. Antenna integrated with UAV makes a smart system for communication. This paper presents various studies of micro-strip antennas used in emergency situations and how it can be better than other existing antennas. This paper focuses on optimum antenna which can be used along with UAV for human presence detection.</p>
