<p>The trend of the flowering phenology of <i>Primula soldanelloides</i> G. Watt (Primulaceae) in the Indian Himalayan region was studied. Records from the herbarium specimens for the last 171&#xa0;years revealed that the flowering time has advanced by 33.44 ± 10.93&#xa0;days from its usual time of flowering. The species has also been assessed as “vulnerable” [VU B2ab(iii)] by applying the IUCN criteria B. A lectotype has also been designated for the name <i>Primula soldanelloides,</i> strictly adhering to the provisions laid in the International Code of Nomenclature for algae, fungi, and plants for fixing the application of the name.</p>
