Analysis and synthesis—methods known since antiquity—serve this purpose. In the literature, both are often presented only superficially, underestimated in their significance, and, it seems, overshadowed by recent technological developments. This paper emphasizes the importance of linking analysis and synthesis in the context of scholarly work and highlights that these are irreplaceable, unique, and creative methods that cannot be substituted by generative artificial intelligence.</p>
