<p>Flow measurements represent a pivotal component within the domain of water management, with a substantial proportion of hydrological and water management decisions being formulated on the basis of the measured discharge. It is imperative that the measurements obtained are accurate, and this must be explicitly stated. The present investigations demonstrate that the number of measurement verticals can potentially influence the result of a flow measurement. In addition, a tool for the straightforward evaluation and processing of flow measurements is introduced.</p>
