Klimaangepasste Bewirtschaftung der Brauchwassertalsperren des Wupperverbandes
摘要
The service water reservoirs in the North Rhine-Westphalian Wupper system must meet flood protection and minimum water flow requirements. The dry period from 2018 to 2020 and the flood event of July 2021 were the reason for the adjustment of the reservoir management. Based on simulations and aquatic ecological investigations, the existing management concept was expanded to include a summer storage space and an adequate reduction of minimum water flow in order to enable more holistic reservoir management and increase the climate resilience of the Wupper system.
