摘要

A case of diffuse dental pain in the upper left jaw without any clinical findings pointed to an energetic cause. Diagnosis revealed involvement of the tendinomuscular stomach meridian, triggered by external wind from a fan. TMM acupuncture using specific points (St 45, St 41, SI 18) and Lu 7 to strengthen Wei-Qi led to significant improvement. Residual pain at tooth 22 could be explained by its energetic correspondence acupuncture point St 41, because of latent stomach issues. This case highlights the importance of TMM in dental acupuncture.
