摘要

In this study, the main objective was to optimize hybrid processes to improve their environmental performance in the treatment of real textile effluents by reducing their pollution parameters. Thus, the treatment of textile effluents is essential in terms of environmental performance to neutralize or at least effectively reduce the high concentration of dyes and chemicals, some of which are non-biodegradable and carcinogenic. A coupled process of Coagulation-Flocculation (CF), sequential Adsorption and Fenton oxidation was applied for the treatment of real wastewater from textile dyeing plants. During CF treatment, the coagulant Al2(SO4)3 was applied using the jar test to determine its optimal dose. The effluent was treated in batch adsorption mode using 1g/L of mesoporous silica MS during 1h, followed by Fenton oxidation (Fe2+/H2O2). The optimal Fenton oxidation conditions was found [Fe2+] = 2 mmol, [H2O2] = 25 mmol/L and pH = 3. The MS adsorbent exhibited an adsorptive capability of 44.4 mg/g TOC and 103.75 mg/g DOC. The combined treatment with optimal doses allowed of 99%, 80.5% and 70.8% removal of colour, DOC and TOC. Thus, the results obtained showed the performance of the hybrid process for the efficient treatment of wastewater generated by textile dyeing plants.
